Table Properties
The property panel contains all configuration settings for your Vizlib Table, organized into templates, data, sorting, data handling, appearance, table settings, viztips, interactivity, and alternate states sections.
This topic contains the following sections:
Templates
Vizlib Table supports Vizlib Templates now, so you can pick the look and feel you want and apply it with one click.
Using Templates
You can find template settings in the property panel under Templates.

To use templates, click on View Templates to open the template screen. You'll see a list of available themes, so you can choose the theme you want and it'll be applied right away. If you need to change the template theme, select one and apply the changes with one click.

Managing Templates
If you find you need to make more changes to the template theme, you can use the settings in the Appearance tab to set the look and feel you want, then save the updates as a template if you want to keep them.

Data - Dimensions
Vizlib Table supports up to 100 Dimensions. When you add a dimension you can choose to add a dynamic title with the Field expression, add a custom Label, choose to Include null values, set a Limitation, and add a condition in Calculate column which runs if the condition is met. Visibility Condition is a legacy feature, if the condition is met (an expression can be entered), then the column is hidden in the Qlik Sense hub, but will appear in the export file.

Title
You can add a Dimension Title (using HTML if you need to), show and set the Tooltip Mode and Tooltip Color for Title Tooltip and set the Tooltip Content and Tooltip Color for Cells Tooltip.

Icon
You can enable a Title Icon for the table choosing an icon, an Icon Color and the Icon Position while also customizing the Title Horizontal Alignment and Title Coloring. You can also set a fixed column width with Adjust Column Width.

Cell
You can set the Cell Text Color, Cell Background Color, Null Value Bg color and Null Value Color, as well as choose the Cell Font style and add a Drop Shadow. There are also settings for changing the Cell Horizontal and Cell Vertical Alignment and an option to use Advanced CSS Styling by entering an expression.

Column, Border
The last group of dimension settings let you display the Right Column Border, setting the Border color and Border Thickness, and enable Selections in Dimensions. You can also choose to add Vizlib Actions or add a Master Item.

Actions
If you click on Add Action, you'll open the Vizlib Actions settings, where you can Pick Action to select the action you want, enter a Field, set the action to Dynamic/Static and enter a Field Value. The action will run when you select a cell, and you can have multiple actions for the same dimension.
Note: If you choose Enable Multiselect in the Interactivity settings you won't be able to use Vizlib Actions with dimensions.

Data - Measures, Representations and Minicharts
Vizlib Table supports up to 100 Measures.
Measures
When you add a measure you can choose to enable Master measure formatting, which means formatting for the measure will be taken from the master item definition (you can find master items in the Custom Objects menu in the left hand panel). You can also add a condition in Calculate column which runs if the condition is met. Visibility Condition is a legacy feature, if the condition is met (an expression can be entered), then the column is hidden in the Qlik Sense hub, but will appear in the export file.

Title

Representation - Text
There are six different Representation types for measures which display the measure as an object, you can choose from Text, Indicators, Progress, Minichart, Bulletchart and Boxplot. A Text representation can be entered as HTML or in a URL format by selecting the check boxes. If you select Text is HTML you can start to use images within your table.

To use images, enter the image source into the Expression field.

The following example shows the output in the table and an example code structure, with the condition that the image changes if the City field has the value Seattle.

Representation - Indicators
If you use Indicators, you can set different colors and icons to display values where you can choose to have single values or ranges.

Representation - Progress
If you use Progress, you can display a progress bar in a table cell. You can choose a Bar Scale, Auto or Fixed (entering a fixed value). You can set the Progress Bar Color, show or hide Negative Bars, set Rounded corners and an Overflow border using the sliders, pick an Overflow border color, choose to display a Vertical Axis and pick Show Value.

Representation - Bulletchart
A Bulletchart representation displays an indicator against a colored range to show where a value falls within a scale.

Representation - Minichart
A Minichart representation can be inserted into each table row, displaying a measure across a dimension.
Note: The dimension must be a single field and cannot be a calculated dimension.
To display the minichart settings, select an option from the Minichart Type drop-down (Line chart, Bar chart, Combo chart, Pie chart, Stacked bar chart and Multiline are currently available). You'll see the Minichart Dimension displayed, and you can choose to Use same start date and customize the Minichart Height.

For a bar chart, you can set the Bar Color, Negative Bar Color, enter a Max. Amount of Bars, choose to Show First 50 Bars, set the Bar Width, Bar Spacing and display a Zero Axis.

Representation - Box Plot
Like a minichart, a Box plot representation can be inserted into each table row, displaying the measure across the dimension, which is defined in Box plot Dimension. You can choose the Box Line Color, Box Fill Color, Box Whisker Color and Box Median Color.

Column, Totals
The last group of measure settings let you display the Right Column Border, setting the Border color and Border Thickness. You can also display the measure as Relative to total, enable Show Total and select a Totals Function option. You can also choose to add Vizlib Actions or a Master Item.

Actions
If you click on Add Action, you'll open the Vizlib Actions settings, where you can Pick Action to select the action you want, enter a Field, set the action to Dynamic/Static and enter a Field Value. The action runs when you select a cell, and you can have multiple actions for the same measure.
Note: If you enable Allow Measure Selection in the Interactivity settings, you won't be able to use Vizlib Actions with measures.

Examples
The following example shows a Vizlib Table in "Bloomberg" format, with a text representation (1), an indicator (2), a minichart (3) and a progress bar (4).

Sorting
With the Sorting settings it is possible to set an Auto mode or choose Custom, sorting by expression, alphabetically or numerically.

Data Handling
In the Data Handling section, you can Suppress Zero Values, and display a Calculation condition with a Displayed message if the condition is not met.

Appearance
In the Appearance section you can customize the settings which control the look and feel of your Vizlib Table object.
General
In General settings you can add a Title, Subtitle and Footnote, you can also set the Show details mode, which allows users to view information about descriptions, measures and dimensions.

Master Colors
With the Master Colors settings, you can choose the Master Mini Chart Color, Master Progress Bar Color and Master Font Color, either by using the color picker or entering an expression.

Header
In the Header settings, you can choose to show or hide the Header row, set the Header Font Size, Font Family, Font Style, add a Drop shadow, and choose the Horizontal Alignment.

You can also change the Background color, show the Header Borders, choose the Borders Style and Color, define the Borders Thickness, enable/disable the Borders Selector. The Important Style setting will overwrite every style connected with the header border when it's selected.

Rows
The Rows settings allow you to set the table Row Height, Font Size, Font Family, Font Style, and add a Drop Shadow.

You can also customize a row Background, choosing a Background Color, showing or hiding the Row Borders, and setting the Row Border Style, Row Border Color, and Row Border Thickness.

Totals
The Totals settings allow you to display totals with Show Totals Row, allow a representation Indicator in totals to be displayed, set the Total Row Height and Font Size, add a Totals Label, set the Font Color, Background.

You can also set the totals Position, define the Total Borders, set the Total Borders Style, Color, and Thickness, and enable or disable borders with the Border Selector.

Table Settings
With Table Settings, you can Enable merge for repeated dimension values, set the Horizontal scrollbar position, choose how to Stretch Table (Fill or Size to Data) and select how to Use Available Space, setting the Min Column Width. You can also choose the Null Cell Background Color and add a Null Symbol.

You can also choose to Highlight Rows on Hover, set the Highlight Background Color, the Highlight Font Color, show Table Borders and define them with the Table border selector, set the Table Border Thickness, Table Border Color and Table Border Style.

Viztips and Tooltips
The Viztips and Tooltips settings help you to manage tooltips in Vizlib Table, and you can also enable Viztips to add dynamic tooltips. If you'd like to find out more about Viztips, you can find our overview article here.
Viztips and Tooltips
To display Tooltips, you need to move the slider to Enabled, and then you can select the Viztips option to start working with dynamic tooltips. There's also a link to the Viztips tutorial if you need to check anything.

Viztips Content
Viztips Content settings contain a drop-down where you select the master item, and includes a copy function for Viztips placeholder tags and a further link to the tutorial.

With Viztips Settings, you can use the sliders to change the height and width of the Viztips object in the chart.

Interactivity
Interactivity enables the users to interact with the data in the chart as well as navigate throughout the scatter view for a better view of the chart.
Allow Selections
Enabling Context Menu lets you merge cells, manage totals and copy a cell value when the table is in Analysis mode, Allow Selections gives the user the ability to select the bubbles in the chart to pass selections back to the app, and Allow Measure Selection lets them link measures to related dimensions. You can also choose to Enable Multiselect, Enable Drag Select and allow Column Resizing.

Note: If you enable Allow Measure Selection you won't be able to use Vizlib Actions with measures, and if you choose Enable Multiselect you won't be able to use Vizlib Actions with dimensions.
Interactive Sorting
When you enable Interactive Sorting, you can change the sort order by clicking on the header cell. You can also Enable Search to show a search icon, Enable Pinning of columns to show an icon to pin a column to the left or right, and Enable reordering of columns lets you use drag and drop to re-order the table.
Note: Updating pinned columns is not supported when using master objects.

Formatted Export Settings
You can choose how you Export to Excel with Formatted Export Settings (text or values), and Include selections and titles. Exporting Text will allow you to download a basic version of the document, exporting Values will download a file containing all your visual changes (border colors, font sizes and links). You can choose Show Maximise Icon to allow objects to be maximized, and Show Snapshot Icon to have the ability to take snapshots of this object. If you choose Show Export Icon you can also choose the Export Icon Settings (either formatted or a straight table).
Note: Snapshot icon has been part of the Hover Menu since the Qlik Sense September 2020 release, and is no longer controlled using the property panel.

Note: The Vizlib Table quick export function respects your security rules (as of v3.21.1 ) so if your users have export restrictions, the Quick Export option will respect these rules.

Enable or Disable Formatted Export
You can enable or disable the formatted export using the Allow formatted export option in the Property Panel > Interactivity > Formatted export settings

When the Allow formatted export option is Disabled, all formatted export options are unavailable. The end users can't export formatted data. The feature applies to Vizlib Table 3.26.0 and above.
Vizlib Table Download Options
When you've finished editing Vizlib Table, you can download the visualized data either as a PDF or Image, or you can choose one of the following export options: Export Data to Excel, Export Formatted Data to Excel, Export Data to CSV, Export Data to Tab Separated CSV.
The download and export options are available when you right-click the application and choose the Download As... option.

Note: The Download as... option isn't available if you're editing the application.
Due to Qlik limitations for .csv and .xslx export, some data may be missing in the exported file. Whenever your data exceeds Qlik limits, the following messages appear.

Alternate State
