Templates

Vizlib Sheet Menu Plus supports Vizlib Templates now, so you can pick the look and feel you want and apply it with one click. You can find template settings in the property panel under Templates.

Figure 1:  Templates

To apply a template, either click on Select a Template in the sheet menu plus object, or click on View Templates to open the template screen. The screen displays a list of themes, and you can apply the theme with one click. If you need to change the template, select another theme and click to apply the changes. In this example you can see that applying a theme immediately changes the color of the top bar.

Figure 2:  Templates Example

If you find you need to make more changes to the template theme, you can use the settings in the Appearance tab to set the look and feel you want.

If you'd like to know more about managing or working with Vizlib Templates, please see our article on creating and saving templates here.

Top Bar, Top Bar Buttons

In Vizlib Sheet Menu Plus, the Top Bar settings allow you to configure the properties for the navigation panel located at the top of your sheet, with separate settings for each of the Top Bar Buttons.

Note: For Sheet Menu Plus to work properly, insightsoftware recommends you enable all UI elements in the Qlik app UI Settings.

Important:

Understanding how the Sheet Title is controlled when using the Sheet Menu Plus is important as altering the name of the sheet or using Title Expression on the Qlik Sheet displays the content differently. See the explanation below:

If Title Expression = True (populated), then display the 'Title Expression' name in the Sheet Menu Plus's Top menu.

, else,

If Title Expression = False (unpopulated), then display the Sheet Menu Plus 'Name' from the

Sheet Menu Plus's Property Panel for that specific menu item.

The Sheet name definition options help you to define the sheet name in the header menu.

The following options

• Default – considers the current level of hierarchy

• Name – considers the name given to the Sheet Menu Plus's property panel for the page

• Title – considers the Qlik sheet Title
