Pie Chart Properties
The property panel contains all configuration settings for your Vizlib Pie Chart, organized into data, appearance, and interactivity sections.
This topic contains the following sections:
Data - Dimensions, Measures, Data Handling, Sorting
The Data settings manage the measures and dimension you're using to create the visualization. You can add dimensions or measures using Fields and Master Items, and also choose to add alternative dimensions and measures. If you'd like to see how you add together measures and dimensions to create a Vizlib Pie Chart, you can find one in our setup guide here.
Dimensions
Vizlib Pie Chart supports only one dimension with multiple metrics. Dimension settings allow you to name a Field, a Label, a check box to Include null values, select a Limitation (No Limitation, Fixed number, Exact value, Relative value), and a new Master item.

Measures
Vizlib Pie Chart supports up to 50 measures, each one added as a tooltip. The first measure is also used to determine the size of the slice. You can enter an Expression, add a Label, and choose a Number formatting option (Auto, Number, Money, Date, Duration, Custom, Measure Expression).
If you are using master items, you can enable Master measure formatting, which means formatting for the measure is taken from the master item definition (you can find master items in the Custom Objects menu in the left hand panel).
Note: Master measure formatting is not displayed for measures created using the Fields list.

Data Handling
The Data Handling section contains settings for displaying your data. You can choose to Suppress Zero Values if you want to hide them, and enter a Calculation condition, which means the chart will be displayed only when the condition is true. You can also enter your own Displayed message to inform users about whether the condition has been met.

Sorting
You can customize your own Sorting settings to Sort by expression, Sort numerically, or Sort alphabetically, in ascending or descending order.

Interactivity and Alternate States
Interactivity settings enable users to interact with chart data and navigate throughout the Pie chart for a better view of the visualization.
Interactivity
You can Allow Selections between Selections and Read Only (no selections enabled), Quick select applies a selected value without prompting the multi-select dialog, Tooltips enables tooltips in the chart, and selecting Smart Labels helps you avoid overlapping elements. Rotate on mouse wheel is an experimental feature which enables a rotation control.

You can use hover mode to highlight pie chart elements by selecting Highlighting on hover and setting the Opacity. You can also use animation transitions by selecting Animations enabled, and show an Extended Context Menu in analysis mode, adding options for the Donut, Data Points, Show Totals, Hide Dimension Title, Legend and Show Measure Title. You can also choose to show a Full screen Icon and Snapshot Icon.

Note: The snapshot icon has been part of the Hover Menu since the Qlik Sense September 2020 release, and is no longer controlled using the property panel.
Alternate States
You can use Alternate States to perform comparative analysis between sets of multiple data items. If you want to add the object to master visualizations, you need to set State to <inherited>. You can find more information about working with alternate states here.
