Vizlib Control Chart Properties
To configure a Vizlib Control Chart for end users, you can use a variety of properties available in the extension Property Panel.
Data
In Property Panel > Data, you can define the Dimensions, Measures and Alternative dimensions for your application.
Sorting
In Property Panel > Sorting, you can define how the software orders data in the application.
Data handling
In Property Panel > Data handling, you can decide how much data the software loads into your Qlik app and how many records are displayed. With the Data downloading property, you can choose the following options:
Initial loading - the software loads first 1000 records.
Define max records manually.
- All data.
For optimum performance, insightsoftware recommends you choose the Initial loading option.
Advanced Analytics
In Property Panel > Advanced Analytics, you can configure features that enable users to perform advanced data analysis. The following features are available:
- Ignore selection in calculation (On/Off) - available in Property Panel > Advanced Analytics > Calculations. This property defines how the software calculates the average (Avg), upper control limit (UCL) and lower control limit (LCL) when a user makes a selection on the chart. When the property is set to Off, the software calculates Avg, UCL, and LCL based only on the selection, ignoring unselected data. When this property is set to On, the software calculates Avg, UCL and LCL against the entire dataset.
-
Runs (On/Off) - Available in Property Panel > Runs and trends. Runs are consecutive data points on the chart that are on the same side of the Avg. You can use the Run length property to define the minimum number of points that the software highlights as runs.

- Mini Chart - It's a mini chart visible at the bottom of the main chart. Enables you to choose a range of points that you want to analyze at the moment. End users can make a selection on the Mini Chart to analyze a specific range of data points. You can enable Mini Chart in Property Panel > Appearance > Mini Chart. The Min data points property controls when the mini chart appears. For example, if you set Min data points to 50, the software will automatically display a mini chart whenever the chart contains 50 or more data points.
