Flow Chart overview

Vizlib Flow Chart displaying flows between dimensions in a Qlik Sense sheet.

Vizlib Flow Chart from insightsoftware is a customizable extension that lets you create and visualize flows and splits between your data, similar to a sankey chart. Vizlib Flow Chart supports one measure and multiple dimensions, and it's a type of flow diagram in which the width of each link represents the metric volume moving from one dimension to another. Unlike a sankey chart, Vizlib Flow Chart doesn't include null settings, so the results display more clearly.

Vizlib Flow Chart features include:

  • A fully customizable chart with formatting options.

  • Transitions between selection states for a better understanding of how your data is filtered.

  • Interactivity modes such as zooming, vertical dragging, and rearranging or sorting dimensions.

  • Coloring options by node, dimension, or measure.

  • Support for alternative dimensions and measures.

  • Full interactivity support, including the option to make the chart read-only.

  • Support for alternate states.

  • Conditional show and hide of dimensions.
