Activity Gauge Setup

Vizlib Activity Gauge from insightsoftware has a quick, simple setup process. This article walks through an example to help you build your first visualization.

Setup Wizard 

Setup starts when you add a Vizlib Activity Gauge object from the Custom Objects menu to a sheet (Figure 1).

To complete the setup, follow these steps:

1. In the far-left panel, click Custom Objects to open the custom objects menu.
2. Select Activity Gauge.
3. Click and hold the cursor on Vizlib Activity Gauge.
4. Drag the object onto the sheet. To resize it, drag the edges.
5. Review the on-screen instructions, which tell you what data to add.
6. Add a Dimension, if your chart needs one.
7. Add the Measures you want to use. The Activity Gauge appears in the sheet.
8. Click Done to close edit mode and view your Activity Gauge.

Edit Setup Properties

After you finish setup, you can edit the Vizlib Activity Gauge settings in the Property Panel. For more information about the Property Panel, see the Properties articles, which are listed in the Activity Gauge Overview article and on the documentation homepage.
