Sheet Actions

Vizlib Sheet Actions provide the user with a simple way to interact with their Qlik Sheet and Applications to help with navigation.

Note: Within these examples, you can use variables to make the fields dynamic.  

This topic contains the following sections:  

Activate Next Sheet

Activates the next ordered sheet in the Qlik Application (Figure 1.2).

If you are on the last Qlik Sheet within your Application, you are taken to the first page of the Qlik Application.

Activate Previous Sheet

Activates the previous ordered sheet in the Qlik Application (Figure 2.2).

If you are on the first Qlik Sheet within your Application, you are taken to the last page of the Qlik Application.

Activate Sheet

Activates any specific Qlik Sheet within the same Qlik Application (Figure 3.4).

  • Show titles
    • From List
    • Select from a user-friendly view of all the Qlik Sheets within your Qlik Application.

    • Custom
      • For example, define the unique ID of the Qlik Sheet you want to target within your Qlik Application.

      • For example, you can use expressions or variables to change the target sheet. When inserting the Sheet IDs, wrap the Sheet ID with two (2) apostrophes.
        • =if(Field = Value, '<Sheet1>', '<Sheet2>')

Back

This action simulates the effect of clicking the back button in the selection panel (Figure 4.2). This has the same function as 'Undo' in MS Word.

Forward

This action simulates the effect of clicking the forward button in the selection panel (Figure 5.2). This has the same function as 'Redo' in MS Word.
